Mam, is there any specific reason that why are we applying tension in the middle only, like why the middle ? Why not any other place ?
It is because of shear stress . For non uniform bending shear stress must not be equal to zero .

Mam I determine some wood( Teak, Mahagony,Accacia,ANJILI,JACK FRUIT TREE) YOUNG'S MODULUS USING UNIFORM BENDING METHOD TO DETERMINE THE FLEXIBILITY OF WOOD SO I GET THE RESULT THE YOUNG'S MODULUS ORDER IN INCREASING ORDER TO DECREASING ORDER(ACCACIA,ANJILI,TEAK,MAHAGONY,JACK FRUIT) AND THE FLEXIBILITY ORDER IS FROM INCREASING TO DECREASING ORDER(JACK FRUIT , MAHAGONY,TEAK,ANJILI,ACCACIA). BUT I AM CONFUSED TO WRITE SOME DISCUSSIONS BASED ON RESULT IN RESULT AND DISCUSSION SE SESSION. SO PLZZZ PLZZ MAAM HELP ME

This is non uniform bending. For uniform bending,we apply the tension at the edge of the bar on either side
